FULL-ON EXOTIC FUTURISM · KOSMISCHE AT ITS VERY BEST
Spiritczualic Enhancement Center's "full-on exotic futurism" has been dubbed "kosmische at its very best" (Electronic Sound). The ensemble's impromptu trip through spectral-jazz ritualism has been around for nearly a decade, with a sound described by tastemakers as "reminiscent of Miles Davis at his most abstract" (Norman Records).

Spaced-out mutant funk meets cosmically-entwined neo-psychedelica, inviting listeners to witness for themselves how live-composed journeys become notable album releases. With sold-out cassettes and highly acclaimed vinyls — the Center also produced the final album of Damo Suzuki (released via Akuphone, Paris), and despite having preferred to float in underground waters, it has received wide-ranging endorsements from outlets such as Bandcamp Daily, UNCUT Magazine, Future Music, Backseat Mafia, Rai Radio's Battiti, BBC and many more.
The outernational troupe now operates as a superconductive organism of exploratory instrumentalists, thriving on unstable resonances and improvised frequencies from sources beyond. Rarely collecting its members for on-site and sought-after occasions, Spiritczualic will be performing for the first time this year — especially for the opening of the brand-new venue on the rooftop of the Tempelhof Flughafen building.
Their "fathoms deep" (Boomkat) jams have been labelled "incredible!" by Gilles Peterson, transmitting relentlessly from the outer edges of the 4th World until they "give mad-jazz labels a run for their money" (The Arts Desk).
